Masary Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Masary website (masaryhub.com) and the Masary platform and services (together, “Masary”), operated by MindBase Education (“MindBase”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using Masary, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Masary.

1. Who may use Masary

  • Students access Masary through a participating Partner School. Students who are minors may use Masary only where their parent or guardian has provided the consent described in our Privacy Policy.

  • School staff (counsellors, teachers, administrators) access Masary under their school’s agreement with MindBase.

  • Parents and guardians may access the parent portal and related communications.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Acceptable use

When using Masary you agree that you will not:

  • Use Masary for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;

  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data, or any part of the platform you are not authorised to use;

  • Upload or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes another person’s rights;

  • Misuse the AI features, for example, attempting to make a persona produce prohibited content, or to pass AI-generated work off as your own in breach of your school’s academic-integrity rules;

  • Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract Masary content or source code; or

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the platform or its security.

Schools agree to use Masary in accordance with their Partner School Agreement, to supervise student use, and to ensure appropriate consents are in place.

3. AI features and their limits

Masary includes AI guidance modules, these features are guidance and learning tools, and operate within defined boundaries. They:

  • do not write students’ application essays or assignments for them;

  • do not guarantee admission to any school, university, or programme;

  • do not provide exam answers or facilitate academic dishonesty; and

  • do not provide crisis, medical, legal, or mental-health advice, such situations are escalated to a human counsellor.

AI outputs may contain errors and should always be reviewed with a counsellor or trusted adult. They do not replace professional guidance, and decisions about subjects, streams, universities, and careers remain yours, made with your school and family.

4. Intellectual property

Masary content. All content, design, learning materials, assessment instruments, pathway frameworks, software, the Masary name, logo, and brand elements are owned by or licensed to MindBase (and, where applicable, our partners). They are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use them only as needed to use Masary for its intended purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

AI-generated outputs. Guidance, drafts, and feedback produced by the AI modules are provided to support the student’s own work. Subject to these Terms and your school’s policies, students may use these outputs for their personal educational purposes. Masary does not claim ownership of a student’s own original work, but retains all rights in the platform, models, prompts, and underlying systems that generate outputs.

Your submissions. Work you submit (such as mini-projects) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant Masary a limited licence to host, process, and display it as needed to operate the program and, only with separate permission, to feature anonymised or attributed examples in program materials.

5. Relationship to the School Agreement (MOU)

Where a school participates in Masary under a Partner School Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding with MindBase, that agreement governs the relationship between MindBase and the school. These Terms apply to individual users in addition to that agreement. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed school agreement on a matter the agreement specifically covers, the signed agreement prevails for that school and its users.

6. Third-party links and services

Masary may link to or integrate third-party content and services (for example, university information or partner learning resources). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Masary is designed to help students make more informed and confident career decisions. We do not promise any particular academic, admissions, employment, or financial outcome. Career and education results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Disclaimers

Masary is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Masary will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, though we work hard to keep it reliable and safe.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, MindBase, Masary and its partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Masary. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MindBase against reasonable losses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of Masary, to the extent permitted by law. For students who are minors, this obligation rests with the responsible parent, guardian, or school as applicable.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to Masary where these Terms or a school agreement are breached, where required by law, or where necessary to protect users or the platform. A school’s participation ends in line with its agreement. On termination, the data-handling rules in our Privacy Policy continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice through the platform or to schools. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The courts of Abu Dhabi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Masary, subject to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you may have under local law. The parties will seek to resolve disputes amicably before commencing proceedings.
